Mountain Meadow Summer Camp for LGBTQ Families

Are you looking for a fun, supportive, LGBTQ family safe place to
send the kids for two weeks this August? Consider Mountain
Meadow Summer Camp!

Mountain Meadow is a safe space camp
for the children of LGBTQ parents. It was founded in 1981 by a
feminist rabbi, Julie Greenberg. What started out as six children
in a backyard blossomed into what is now Mountain Meadow. The
mission of the camp is “to help youth from unconventional families
and their allies succeed in school and their daily life.”

This summer, August 9-22, the camp will
be an hour from Philadelphia in South New Jersey. There will be
swimming, boating, art & crafts, and all the fun activities of
camp along with leadership development and adult leaders from LGBTQ
families.

Camp tuition is offered on a sliding
fee basis and is very affordable. For more information, visit
the Summer Camp web page or call 215-772-1107 or email
