On June 13th, the Boston lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community will come together and celebrate New England’s largest Pride event. For over 39 years, Boston Pride has organized the Pride Festival, which now includes over one hundred vendors and merchants. This year, Family Equality Council will be a part of the festivities, bringing a family-friendly booth to Boston Pride.
The Family Equality Council’s booth will be located right next to COLAGE’s booth. The booth will include face painting for children, as well as space for children to draw their families.
Stop by to learn more about Family Equality Council’s work, to learn about local volunteer opportunities, including Family Week (held August 1-8 in Provincetown, MA)! Several Family Equality Council staff and interns will be available to chat, play with kids, and answer your questions.
The Boston Pride festival will begin at 12pm at City Hall Plaza, and is only a short walk from the Government Center “T” stop. See you there!
