National Awards Dinner October, 2007 Hollywood, CA The 2007 National Awards Dinner was a huge success! The evening was made memorable by performances by our emcee Esera Tuaolo, rousing acceptance speeches from our deserving honorees, and the official launch of our new name. We are also sincerely grateful that Ms. Janice Langbehn Pond and her children could join us to share their tragic story that demonstrates the horrific consequences our families face as a result of discrimination and underlines the importance of achieving full family equality. Our guests recognized the importance of fighting on behalf of all loving families, and showed their support by helping us raise over $160,000. These funds will go straight into our work and help ensure that one day in the future no loving family will have to endure what Janice and her family had to.
