East Coast Regional Manager: The East Coast Regional Manager is responsible for implementing a strategic plan that will promote organizational growth, expanding our base constituency on the East Coast, and further building regional communities of families with parents who identify as LGBTQ.
- Fall 2014 Digital Communications Intern - DC Office: The Digital Communications Intern is an integral member of the Communications team. This unpaid internship involves assistance with external communications and marketing efforts as well as research of and outreach to traditional mass media and digital media outlets. Success in this position requires highly developed organizational skills, the ability to problem solve independently, a team-oriented mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Fall 2014 / Winter 2015 Executive Internship, Community Event: The Executive Interns are an integral part of the Program Team within Family Equality Council and play a critical support role in each of the events and activities that will be coordinated during this internship period - such as conducting community outreach, event planning and execution, fundraising research, overseeing materials, writing and publishing content to promote events and activities, and drafting and designing event materials.
- Summer 2015 Family Week Community Events & Programs Internship: Family Week is the largest global gathering of LGBTQ-headed families, and features numerous forums for building community and promoting empowerment on today’s issues. For the past 20 summers, LGBTQ parents, their children, extended families, and their friends have gathered at the tip of iconic Cape Cod to create connections that truly last a lifetime, taking home experiences that help us further join together to make the world a better place for all loving families.
