What is the Breakthrough Conversation Project?

Talking to friends and family members about the issues facing people who are LGBT is the single most important thing we can do to help change hearts & minds. Therefore, Family Equality Council is part of a 15 organization coalition working on The Breakthrough Conversations project. This new effort new effort aims to change hearts and minds on LGBT equality through mobilizing conversations between LGBT advocates and people to whom they are close, using specific research-based messages.
