Family Week 2016
July 23rd - July 30th
Family Week is the largest annual gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-identified parents and their families in the world. The 2016 fun-filled Week will include more opportunities than ever to build community and to get empowered on today's issues.
From sunrise to sunset, Family Week offers activities and events for your entire family. Each day will be filled with programming options for individual age groups, including many signature Family Week events and activities that are designed for everyone.*
Family Week 2016 Registration is open until July 14, 2016! The Welcome Brunch has officially sold out.
Ask some Family Week veterans - Family Week really is for ALL families! ASL interpreters are available throughout the week, just indicate your need while registering or email Emily McGranachan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Family Equality Council and COLAGE will partner once again to create another amazing Week full of fun in the sun with the LGBTQ parents, their children, extended families, and friends, who will join us from across the globe!
Family Equality Council and The Rainbow Initiative are thrilled to announce the second annual Fisher-Davenport Scholarship Fund – a scholarship fund created to help more families attend Family Week. For more information on how to donate to the fund or apply for the scholarship, visit the site today!
We hope to see you in the iconic Cape Cod, in Provincetown, Massachusetts!
Thank you to our 2016 sponsors!
A special thank you!
*Due to construction at the high school, this year COLAGE youth programming (age 7-18) will take place in the Provincetown Inn (1 Commercial St). Family Equality Council is not able to offer Kidapalooza or Youth Adventures programs this year because of the space limits. But new activities like a Whale Watch, regional gatherings, and performances will all be happening for families with younger children. In addition, parents attending a Parent Cafe workshop or the State of the Movement can bring their children (age 3-7) to the Crown & Anchor. Youth will be able to take part in supervised and organized group activities on the beach just outside the workshop space.
**Family Equality Council’s event registrations are refundable, minus a $10 processing fee, if the refund is requested at least 30 days prior to the start of the event. If you need to cancel your registration to Family Week 2016, please contact Emily McGranachan, East Coast Regional Manager, by e-mail at email@example.com as soon as possible – your registration fee will be refunded within 14 business days in the form through which initial payment was submitted. Online registration will remain open until July 14, 2016.
If you need to cancel your registration less than 30 days from the start of the Family Equality Council event, your payment is nonrefundable and will become part of the event’s scholarship fund.
