Thank you to all who attended this year’s amazing Midwest Conference event! What an incredible opportunity for our families to hear from content experts (including representatives from the current White House administration), a fabulous keynote speaker, Ella Robinson, and best of all, enjoy lots of time networking with other families that looked a lot like theirs.

Making Modern Families Visible: LGBT Families of Color Survey: 

The Family Equality Council is a national organization working to ensure equality for LGBT-headed families.  Through family-oriented events, social and educational programs - for both parents and community members - an aggresive legislative agenda, a host of publications and dynamic web presence, the Family Equality Council is making a difference.  As our mission states, "by building community, changing hearts and minds, and advancing social justice for all families," we are continually striving to empower our members and to honor our commitments.  We want our work to touch and improve the lives of GLBT-headed families across all lines of race, ethnicity/nationality and gender.  To that end, we are conducting this assessment in order to determine the needs of families from different communitites and cultures, so that we can develop the programs and policies that will address those needs.  By inviting you to complete our survey we are asking for your help.
