I think this is a great idea -- spot on. Kids will find ways to differentiate between two parents (or more!). Best to follow their lead and give them as much guidance as is culturally relevant to you and your family.


it's great to know what others do....refer to yourself as you'd like to be referred to and the child will figure it out and make up her/his own way of distinguishing...be assured of that!
