HeartSONGS:
a collection of poetry by LGBTQ families

A huge thank you to all the families that contributed in our first ever family poetry contest, and a special congratulations to the winning families. We've but together a book of all the poetry submitted, celebrating LGBTQ families and the fight for equality.

This full-color, 16 page collection features more than 50 poems and photographs submitted by LGBTQA families from across the country. Funny, touching and powerful - these poems convey an important truth about our families. That truth, and the heartsong of this collection, is this: though our families are unique in many ways, our differences pale in comparison to that which we share in common with all families; our families are built on love.

We hope that you enjoy "Heartsongs" and that you spread its message far and wide. This book can be used as a tool to talk about our families to friends, teachers, neighbors and family members.
