our first ever LGBTQA family poetry contest. Then, you – our
friends, family members, neighbors and supporters – voted for your
favorite poem from 11 finalists. A winner was selected, the dust
settled, and now we’re thrilled to announce the release of
“Heartsongs”.
“Heartsongs” is a free, downloadable eBook of all the poetry
submitted in the contest. This full-color, 16 page collection
features more than 50 poems and photographs submitted by families
from across the country. Funny, touching and powerful – these poems
convey an important truth about our families. That truth, and the
heartsong of this collection, is this: though our families are
unique in many ways, our differences pale in comparison to that
which we share in common with all families; our families are built
on love.
