Thank You.

It’s been a busy week for the Family Equality Council. The
organization continues to grow by leaps and bounds; we’re
approaching 15 (yikes!) team members and our budget has tripled
over the last few years, allowing our work and impact to increase
exponentially.  With strategic planning well underway, the timing
was perfect for a staff retreat.

Our staff from across the country (from four states with three
official offices), gathered in Boston, MA for some team building
and reinvigoration.

It was so wonderful to connect with such a talented team. You
should take great comfort in knowing that so many brilliant folks
are working to bring equality to your family.

What struck me most was how far we’ve come. When I first
interviewed with Family Equality Council (it was called Family
Pride way back then) in May of 2006, there were 4 employees. Over
the years, as we’ve added more and more staff, our ability to
affect change in communities around the country has become truly
inspiring.

So, THANK YOU for making all of this possible. It is through the
support of people like you that we are able to make our mission a
reality. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
