Creating Safer Schools: The Stonewall National Education Project

Children with parents who are LGBT, or who identify as LGBT themselves, continue to face bullying, harassment and discrimination at school.  Schools shouldn’t be a place of fear but a place for children to thrive.

The Stonewall National Education Project is working to create safer and more inclusive schools for the youth of the LGBT community, working directly with school districts.  Watch as project director and parent, Jessica Herthel, talks about why safer schools are so important.
