Family Equality Council to Honor the Johnson & Johnson Care with Pride™ Initiative at Los Angeles Impact Awards

Family Equality Council’s annual LA Impact Awards Gala celebrates LGBTQ families and honors those who have made a significant impact in the fight for equality. The 2018 LA Impact Awards take place on March 17, and this year we are proud to honor the Johnson & Johnson Care with Pride™ initiative with an Impact Award.

In their tradition of caring for families for over 100 years, Johnson & Johnson has been a strong voice in efforts to make the world a more caring and accepting place for LGBTQ families. Family Equality Council’s partnership with the Johnson & Johnson Care with Pride initiative has amplified our ability to connect families through vital programs including Family Week in Provincetown and our presence at Pride events across the country. LGBTQ families recognize and value household brands that elevate LGBTQ families, helping to cultivate respect and equality for the LGBTQ community.

“Now in its seventh year, the Johnson & Johnson Care with Pride program continues to openly champion love, equality and care for the LGBTQ community,” said Reed Harris II, Care with Pride Co-Lead.  “We are proud to partner with Family Equality Council to ensure all families are respected, loved and celebrated.”

The Impact Award will be presented to Johnson & Johnson by actress and singer Olivia Holt, who also serves as brand ambassador for the company’s Neutrogena® brand. Olivia stars as ‘Tandy Bowen’ in the Freeform and Marvel series CLOAK AND DAGGER and her debut EP, OLIVIA, was released on Hollywood Records in 2016 with her latest single GENEROUS releasing at the end of 2017.  Olivia is currently working on new music with Hollywood Records.

Family Equality Council thanks Johnson & Johnson for their years of support, and for their boundless enthusiasm for celebrating LGBTQ families.
