Broadway Direct—the official source for shows, tickets, and everything Broadway—announced that it will support Family Equality and LGBTQ+ families across the country this Giving Tuesday.
After the widely celebrated shopping events, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is a global movement centered around giving to organizations you love. For the second year, Broadway Direct’s #GivingTuesday campaign will highlight three organizations that align with their core values of inclusion, education, and accessibility—and Family Equality is so grateful to be chosen as one of those organizations! Today, Broadway Direct announced that it will join individuals across the US in standing with LGBTQ+ families and fighting for full lived and legal LGBTQ+ equality. For years, Broadway Direct has proudly supported Family Equality, and this year they are demonstrating their support by donating $5 for every ticket purchased on Broadway Direct between today—November 26, 2019—and Giving Tuesday (December 3, 2019).
