June 12, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

  • « Ask the Experts: Trans Fertility

We are elated to collaborate with The Center in San Diego to bring you a fierce queen duo- Raquelita & Barbie Q! Grab and snack and put on your listening ears—it’s going to be a treat!

Raquelita is a colorful and bright Latinx queen. She is very proud of her Mexican culture and wants to share her art to make the world a happier place. She loves glitter, hamburgers and the color blue! She is a part of Queer Novela and their mission as drag artists is to make the world a better place through telling stories, inspiring/empowering youth, and giving representation to the Latinx LGBTQ+ community.
Barbie Q (or Carne Asada in Spanish) is your reigning Curvy Latinx Barbie. She is saucy, zesty, sweet, and loves the color pink. Barbie Q is here to represent and empower the curvy Barbies of the world! She is a part of Queer Novela and their mission as drag artists is to make the world a better place through telling stories, inspiring/empowering youth and giving representation to the Latinx LGBTQ+ community.
The San Diego Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center, Inc., (The Center) is one of the largest and most vibrant LGBT community centers in the nation. Functioning as the San Diego LGBT community’s anchor organization, The Center provides targeted programs and services to the full diversity of the San Diego LGBT community, including men, women, youth, seniors, transgender and non-binary individuals, families, LGBT Latino community members and their families, and those living with HIV.
“Families @ The Center” is an inclusive family program at the San Diego LGBT Community Center. This program is designed to provide resources, education, support, and opportunities for community building for LGBTQ+ families and those considering parenthood.
