Self-Care in a Pandemic

Your Needs Matter: Why Caring for Your Self is an Act of Generosity

Mainstream parenting culture might have you believe it’s selfish to prioritize your own Self-care. But especially during this global pandemic, it’s important to deconstruct and consciously examine the beliefs you hold about how much you’re allowed to tend to your Self, the impact your Self-care has on your relationship with your child, and more. In this workshop with Nic Strack, you’ll have an opportunity to discover some of the most impactful beliefs you hold around what it means to care for your Self and start to reframe how you think about the importance of care.

Nic Strack (pronouns: they/them) is a Parenting Coach; they help parents custom-create their own parenting styles in order to make more conscious choices with confidence and grace. They have a degree in Cognitive Science & Psychology from the University of California – Berkeley, and they’re a brilliant, hilarious, awkward-as-fuck human who’s proud to be an autistic non-binary queer parent of color to a 3.5 year old little one.
