Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training Series
The National Network of LGBTQ+ Family Groups is committed to being welcoming, mindful, and inclusive of marginalized LGBTQ+ groups including, but not limited to, families of color, trans families, single parents, polyamorous families, isolated families in rural areas, families of low socioeconomic status, families of differing ability status, and those impacted by HIV and/or AIDS. Therefore, we would like to invite you to join us for our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training series. We will be covering various topics highlighting how your group can support marginalized communities within the broader LGBTQ+ community.
Please view our training videos below. In addition, visit our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training Document. This is a living document, which is often updated with new material which corresponds to the training videos.
Thank you so much for your interest in the National Network’s Mini-Grant Program. Unfortunately, at this time, we are pausing both grants due to the COVID-19. For the safety of our families, we are discouraging community gatherings. Please visit The Neighborhood: A Virtual Hub for LGBTQ+ Families for more resources.
Family Fun Day

National Network of LGBTQ+ Family Groups would like to support National Network members who are interested in hosting a Family Weekend full of programming for LGBTQ+ families. Want to start a family or parent group? Already part of a group but want to learn how to make it stronger? Are you a community leader who wants to work with families? The National Network aims to create community while coordinating and supporting existing parent groups and those who wish to form groups. The National Network is thrilled to launch our newest program Trailblazers! This is an opportunity for those who would like to form an LGBTQ+ family group or just started a group to connect, learn and grow through a cohort model.
