Family Weekend in the Midwest is Family Equality Council’s annual long weekend event for regional lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) parents, their children, extended families, prospective families, and friends. Each year, we partner with the Midwest community to bring family activities, programming and community-building for this fun-filled weekend.

Family Equality Council’s Night at the Pier gala is a celebration of LGBTQ families, and the people and organizations which have made an impact on our families and communities. Night at the Pier not only honors the contributions of remarkable people and groups, but also highlights the accomplishments of Family Equality Council – from our work fighting so-called religious freedom restoration acts to our community.

From festivals to activities and events in partnership with local organizations, Family Equality is promoting family-friendly spaces and events at Prides nation-wide.
