The Neighborhood: A Virtual Hub for LGBTQ+ Families

Building community, education, and entertainment for LGBTQ+ parents and families amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

With the ever-growing list of cancellations, closures, and other news surrounding coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), LGBTQ+ parents are working from home, children of all ages are home from school, and prospective LGBTQ+ parents are left unsure of their future path to parenthood.

In this time of social isolation and uncertainty, Family Equality is here for you. We are determined to provide spaces for you to connect with others, find support, and build community—now more than ever.

The Neighborhood: A Virtual Hub for LGBTQ+ Families offers LGBTQ+ families and those who wish to form them a robust calendar of activities from toddler dance parties to creative writing workshops for teens. By signing up for our email alerts, you will be notified each time a new event has been added to our calendar—and you can tune in live here, participate on Facebook, or re-watch later on YouTube!
